
User Experience Improvement for a Fashion Tech Leader
A fashion tech company sought to enhance their mobile application user experience, increase user engagement, and gather more user actions for marketing by integrating KPIs. Additionally, they wanted a solution for the aftermarket sale of clothes, allowing users to resell their items. To address these needs, we devised astrategy that included market, competitor, and gap analyses. We provided a recommendation to improve the user experience and desigined a solution for the aftermarket sales feature, ultimately meeting the company's goals for app usability and user engagement.
We understood the client's perspective
Over the last 5+ years, a European Fashion Technology Company with a sales revenue of €12 million has provided clothes that is more environmentally friendly, more rapidly, with premium quality, and nearly 10 times more efficient and elegant ready-to-wear designs clothes in the apparel sector. A fashion tech company wanted to enhance their e-commerce mobile application user experience, boost user engagement, and collect more user actions for marketing purposes. They also sought a solution for the aftermarket sale of clothes, enabling users to resell their items. Additionally, their existing e-commerce mobile application experienced limited user engagement and provided a suboptimal user experience, which required significant improvement.
We provided the solution
We provided the solution in two phases using tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
Phase 1:

We began with extensive market research and competitor analysis, examining the user interfaces, flows, and UI elements of other fashion companies' mobile applications.

Additionally, we researched various payment and delivery methods, as well as third-party KPI tools.

Based on this research, we conducted a gap analysis to identify challenges and areas for improvement in the client's mobile application.

We then developed detailed use cases and process flows for the mobile application screens.

Using Figma, we designed the user interface, created wireframes, and mockups for the mobile application.

Furthermore, we documented user stories for the enhancements and for integrating the third-party KPI tool, enabling the marketing team to collect user data for further marketing efforts.
Phase 2: -
For the second phase, we focused on the aftermarket sale feature.

We conducted market research and competitor analysis to understand how other companies implement this feature. A gap analysis was performed to identify challenges and improvement opportunities specific to the client's aftermarket sale functionality.

We created use cases and process flows for this feature and designed the corresponding user interface, wireframes, and mockups using Figma.

Throughout both phases, we collaborated closely with multiple stakeholders, including the Product Owner and Chief Technology Officer, to ensure the project's timely delivery. The entire project was completed over a period of 8 weeks.
